Last minutes with Oden, a short documentary

Here is a short documentary from Eliot Rausch about Jason Wood coming to terms with the grief of losing his pet to cancer. Wood eloquently describes what Oden has meant to him throughout his life with all the raw emotions that arise when coming terms with an impending loss. The film shows how the lines drawn between human and animal experiences are often blurred by the deeply felt emotional dynamics that define these relationships.

Gail F. Melson has written an interesting article titled “Psychology and the Study of Human-Animal Relationships”, which can be accessed here.
